A Celebration of New Life
April 6, 2009
I am filled with endless love and gratitude for life and all of the side roads
within it. My life in the last year and
a half has offered me deep insight and many
opportunities to reach deeper to find the peace within. Sometimes I would lose my focus
and feel
as if I was falling uncontrollably into hopelessness. It was within
these experiences that I eventually found my true strength.
Once it was
found,
each time the recovery was faster because I could call upon the memory
of peace to find my way out once again. I know that there may
be difficult
moments
and I also now know that I have the resource to value them to the fullest.
The universe is presently offering
us a magical time of rebirth and new
discoveries about life and our role in it. As my personal life reflected difficult
closure in some ways it now is reflecting hope,
birth and new life. My precious
daughter Liz has granted our family this new joy with her newborn
daughter, Emma Joye. My daughter gave us
the gift of being witness to
great
courage, strength, endurance, faith and enormous grace. I have once
again learned from my children and it is my hope and intention that
I can
give
that back to them in the moments they do not recognize it in
themselves. The gift of human interaction and relationships holds the
ever-constant journey of growth and self-awareness…if
we choose to view it in
this
positive way. Every experience is servitude to our inner calling for growth
and self-love. We create these moments of difficulty to allow
our character to
strengthen
within our truth.
This beautiful child so clearly holds the spark of life of goodness, peace,
unconditional love and hope. It is so bright,
so strong and so obvious that
the
emotions that come forth while you look at her are the memory of what we all
hold within our souls. It is the presence of “God
eternal within”. Each
new life upon this earth brings us the reminder of who we are, what we are
striving to be and what our purpose is.
So, it is with enormous gratitude and
love that I share these thoughts with you in the hope that you will find the
peace within yourself. Please keep it as
a reminder and allow it to carry
you through the difficult times.
It is so fitting that this holy time of year has
come once again as a reminder
of
the old dying within and our choice to be reborn with the hope of new
beginnings and new life. It is the perseverance discovered in
the difficult
times
that allows us to open to receive the hope and peace of eternal life.
I thank you for your faith in the
strength of my spirit throughout it all as
I remind you of my never ending faith in your spirit of love, forgiveness and
the awareness of eternal peace within you.
Once again, this is a time to
celebrate
life in all of its glory.
May the peace of God be with you now and for all time.
Blessings, love
and light,
Joyce
